Steven Reichling A very unique way to experience scripture! Engaging, thoughtful, and creative. One of the best Christian albums I've ever heard. Looking forward to checking out their other albums. Favorite track: three old witnesses (5-7).

Kathi D Psallos’s music has become one of our family’s absolute favorites! We have learned much about Romans from their album. Totally love Jude. And we would be super stoked to see a Christmas album! Maybe a combo Isaiah/Luke?? Thanks so much for making Scripture come to life this way. Keep it up. Favorite track: hidden reefs (4).

“We wondered at times if God was able to keep us…or would he lose us?” “He said we needed to fight.” “…were coming. He said they were already here.” “Let’s start at the beginning, shall we? Whenever you’re ready.” “When they first came…” “Their speech was real pretty.” “But they were not who we thought they were.” “They lied to us. They lied to us.” “But Jude never lied; he told us about them.” “What did Jude say?”
2.
To you, let there be mercy. To you, let there be peace. To you, let there be love, let there be love, Let there be love.

be/loved (3) 02:24
Beloved, I have so much to say, So much that I want to write to you Of our common love, our common faith, Oh, give me some time, I will write you that song Oh, won’t you give me some time and I will send it along. But something in the wind has called me, Something in the air has caught my ear— A whisper of a word of warning, A murmur of danger coming. Something in the wind has called me, Something in the air has caught my ear, And it’s telling me of evil lies, And it’s telling of darker nights, And it’s telling me the time has come for you, For you to fight. Remember what your father had said? Do you remember what your mother passed down? They told you, “Long ago, a seed was sewn To crush the devil and to cast him away. The seed was the Son of Man, He came to earth to suffer and to die as the Lamb, And then once for all, he felled the fall, But now these people trying to lead you astray. So we sing, “Fight! It’s time to embrace the battle of faith. It’s raging before you. Resist this lie you’ve been told! Don’t cash in your soul, don’t let it destroy you.”
4.
And we’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, We’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, We’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, And we’ll all hang on behind… These are hidden reefs creeping beneath the peaceful seas, Far below us! Far below us! These are sleeping thieves, waiting to crush and crash and seize, Far below us! Far below us! These are wicked feigns, greedily eating the corporate feast, Not far below us, far below us. These teach what they please, tickling ears with poison speech, Not far below us, far below. And did you hear them come? See them stir? Could you face them? Creeping to corrupt, to pervert God’s grace into Sex, into lust, deny the words, they disgrace him— Close below us. And did you hear them come? Did you know? Did you notice them Creeping from below? Long ago, God appointed them To death! But the boat in the throes will it destroy them?— Right below us. And we’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, We’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, We’d be all right if the wind is in our sails, And we’ll all hang on behind… And we’ll roll the old chariot along, We’ll roll the old chariot along, We’ll roll the old chariot along, And we’ll all hang on be…

“Next witness, please.” When Israel roamed the wilderness, And put the Lord God to the test “Next witness, please.” Heavenly beings, angels are fleeing, See you later! Can’t stay here, gotta leave my post. So God has kept them in chains under gloomy and utter darkness Until all of time comes to a great and final apocalyptic close. (“Next witness, please.”) Sodom and Gomorrah, Sodom and Gomorrah— You sinned and played the whore-ah, And now you are no more-ah. “Order! Order! [“That is not what he said”] Now these three wretched witnesses are examples of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Get them out of my sight.”
6.
These, defying like the three, Deceived, relying on their dreams, Defile and spoil, soil the flesh Heavenly rulers, rules reject; They curse the glorious ones.
7.
One day, the devil came up and said, “I heard that Moses is dead. I remember when he killed that man Long ago in Egypt-land. There’s no honor for the burial of bloody hands.” He said, “Give me the body of Moses, Give me his flesh and bones; Give me the body of Moses, I have claimed him for my own.” And that’s when, Michael came down and spoke, “Oh devil, you talk of what you don’t know. I remember when you first rebelled, Long ago when the angels fell. There’s no honor and truth in the words of hell.” He said, “Give me the body of Moses, Give me his flesh and bones; Give me the body of Moses, God has claimed him for my own.” And though Michael could have uttered a curse upon his head, Judging that devil to the level of a rebel where he made his bed, He said, “Devil, the Lord rebuke you! Devil, your time will come. Devil, the Lord rebuke you! God will judge you when it’s done.” “And give me the body of Moses, Give me his flesh and bones; Give me the body of Moses, God has claimed him for His own!”
8.
These—blasphemy constantly. Deceased, mindless beasts, fruitless trees, Their fate, sealed in hate, bound in deeds.
9.
They walked in the way of Cain, That murderous son of a man, Standing over his brother slain With blood dripping his hands. We cry, “Woe!” They abandoned themselves like Balaam For the sake of wicked gain, But their love of money will fail ‘em— It will suffer them just the same. They have a moneybag for a heart, Their greed will tear ‘em apart. We cry, “Woe!” They perished like the rebels of Korah In the fires of burning flames; Yeah, the judgement of God will floor ya When you’re stealing from the Father’s fame. Like the rage of a city burned, Like the falling of a heavenly blaze, Like the wandering of a nation spurned, They will perish in their evil ways, We cry, “Woe!”
10.
Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie…
11.
One day, Enoch prophesied and said, He said “The Lord is gonna come back.” One day, Brother Enoch spoke up and said, He said, “The Lord is coming back.” He’s gonna bring ten thousands and he’s gonna bring the sword, He’s gonna bring judgment on the evil of the world. He’s gonna bring conviction on the wicked in the last days. These ungodly teachers and their ungodly deeds, Their ungodly mouths and their ungodly speech, He’s gonna judge the wicked and convict them in the last days. These ungodly people and their ungodly ways, Their ungodly words from their sheep-coated wolf’s face He’s gonna get ‘em, gonna judge ‘em on the last day.
12.
Wild waves, wild waves, wild waves of the sea. Wild waves, wild waves, wild waves of the sea. These are pouty, grumbling bums, Boasting loudly to everyone. They’ll bid you come in, “Be my friend,” But only if you help them win. A heart that’s fixed on sin.
13.
“Next witness, please.” But you must remember The words they foretold: Heed the truth of the apostles, Fill your heart, fill your soul. Fill the heart, fill the soul. “In the last time there will be Scoffers like these, scoffers like these. Going after their lusts and greed, There will be scoffers like these.” “In the last time there will be Scoffers and imposters, false prophets like. Chasing after their fleshly dreams, There will be scoffers like these.” But you must remember.
14.
These they will divide you into little parts: Fractions of the whole, factions of the soul. People of the world, people of the world! Spirit, is there no home for you in these?
15.
But you, my beloved friends, you gotta fight, you gotta contend. You gotta keep yourselves built up well, You gotta pray what the Spirit would say. Stay kept in the Father’s love, waiting for the mercy of the Son above, There is eternal life through Jesus Christ, So you better buckle down for the fight. We say, “Fight! It’s time to embrace the battle of faith. It’s raging before you. Resist this lie you’ve been told. Don’t cash in your soul! Don’t let it destroy you! Don’t let it destroy you! Don’t let it destroy you! Don’t let it destroy you! Don’t let it destroy!”
16.
To those who doubt, let there be love. To those in flames, let there be peace. To those with guilt-stained hearts, let there be mercy, Oh, let there be peace, Let there be love— Love, love, love!
17.
“We wondered at times if God was able to keep us…or would he lose us.” When dangers creep beneath you, Like hidden reefs below, When wandering stars above don’t lead you home, When people promise blessing, Like clouds that promise rain— These pretty lying mists, they wisp in vain— When wild waves surround you, With vile, wicked shame, When trees in which you trusted Bear no fruit and give no gain. Can he keep his sheep from stumbling? Can he keep his children safe? Can he keep his chosen people free from guilt and blame? Can he keep his beloved without blemish, spot, or stain? Now to him, the Lord our God, He is able to keep you, Able to keep you. Our sov’reign King, our mighty Savior, He is able to keep your soul! May all glory and majesty, Dominion and authority Be yours, forevermore! Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
